ISOLAR VACUREX® Vacuum elements are extremely high-performance facade elements which can be installed into common facade constructions in the same way as insulating glass. The most important difference between ISOLAR VACUREX® and regular heating panels is the significantly lower installation thickness.
ISOLAR VACUREX® combines the innovative technology of vacuum insulation panels with the design possibilities of glass and the benefits of modern insulation glass technology. Due to its very low installation thickness, ISOLAR VACUREX® can be used in the same way as insulating glass in facade construction. The construction effort required with significantly larger installation thickness is removed, as is the necessary work required to accommodate ventilation for the heating panels.
The glass panel already achieves a U-value of 0.3 W/m²K with only a 16 mm thick vacuum insulation board (18 mm cavity). Even lower U values can be achieved with thinner vacuum insulation plates. Corresponding values have only been achieved up to now with a significantly thicker heat panel.
ISOLAR VACUREX® Glass panels with vacuum technology are available in all common glass panel colours. The glass pane can also be replaced with a coated metal sheet. In addition, ISOLAR VACUREX® can be fitted with the extra functionality of modern multi-function glass, such as extra attack resistant properties or increased sound insulation.
