DEKOREX^® LL insulating glass with light guidance qualities

ISOLAR DEKOREX^® LL marries two essential uses of daylight with each other:

1. The slats located in the plate gap steer the sunlight, with help of total reflection of shining light from a high sun, to the ceiling. There the light can be reflected further using corresponding measures. An even room illumination can be achieved on sunny days, where normally rooms are shaded from the glaring sunlight and much energy for artificial lighting is wasted.

2. The sunlight which shines when the sun is in a low position is dispersed in the room as diffuse light and therefore is optimally utilized. This is assured through the special geometry on the back of the slats. This also saves energy spent on artificial lighting when shading and anti-glare are required at the same time.

A slat setting, in accordance with the position of the sun, isn't necessary. DEKOREX^® LL is suitable for particular use in the upper window areas or as skylights. Because the slats are placed between the insulating glass plates, no maintenance is required at all.
