MULTIPACT^®: The insulating glass for burglary defense and object protection.

The safety of every house begins with the initial planning. MULTIPACT^® is ISOLAR’s product line for the protection of persons and buildings against attack and burglary. Glass and window areas are a preferential target for forcible entry into a house or building. Because of this, preventive glass protection is an essential safety base. The production method for laminating of glass and synthetic materials as well as the composition of the laminated glasses have been especially coordinated for the type of attack to be expected.

The right glass for every occasion

A distinction is made between four different ways of attack when testing security glazings. Therefore there are four different MULTIPACT^® versions:

• MULTIPACT^® A and PA with resistance against penetration by balls
• MULTIPACT^® B and PB with resistance against break by mean of a cutting striking tool
• MULTIPACT^® C and BR/SG with resistance against penetration by bullets
• MULTIPACT^® D with resistance against explosive effect
• MULTIPACT^® EH with resistance certified by property insurers

Glass and window areas need to be meaningfully integrated in an extensive safety concept for better protection against burglaries and attacks. All MULTIPACT^® glass products can be equipped as an alarm glass.

In case of burglary insurance insurers frequently ask for special preventive measures such as the use of certain glass products like glasses with burglary protection. MULTIPACT^® EH glass is inspected and approved according to the guidelines issued by German property insurers.
